Firetruck HUD commands
These are personal, client-side controls. They do not require administrator permissions and are not configured through Config.CommandPermissions. Enter them in the in-game chat, or without the leading / in the F8 client console.
| Command | Arguments | Description |
|---|---|---|
/firetruckhud | None | Toggles the water/foam HUD and remembers your preference. Hiding it also closes HUD editing and mouse interaction. |
/firetruckhudmove | None | Enables the HUD and opens its position and size editor, including while on foot. |
Move and resize the HUD
- Run
/firetruckhudmove. - Drag the gauge panel to the desired position.
- Use the editor's − and + buttons to adjust its size from 50% to 150%, in steps of 10 percentage points.
- Click Done or press Enter to finish editing.
Position and size are saved as you change them and remain stored locally for that player. Outside the editor, the enabled HUD appears in a supported fire vehicle or helicopter with a supported Water Bucket. The bucket view shows water only.
Mouse interaction and key bindings
While the HUD is visible, hold Left Ctrl to use the mouse and click Water or Foam. Release the key to end mouse interaction. Foam selection is available only when the vehicle has foam capacity.
| Action | Default key | Configuration key |
|---|---|---|
| Toggle firetruck HUD | Unbound; use /firetruckhud or assign a key | Config.Keybinds.firetruckHudToggleKey |
| Hold firetruck HUD mouse interaction | Left Ctrl (LCONTROL) | Config.Keybinds.firetruckHudCursorKey |
FiveM uses +firetruckhudcursor on key press and -firetruckhudcursor on release. Use the held key for normal interaction; this is separate from the /firetruckhudmove layout editor.
Players can change these bindings under Settings > Key Bindings > FiveM. For server defaults and the exact Job Configurator fields, see HUD key bindings.
Shared setup commands
These commands are supplied through the Sky shared resources but are required during Fire Job setup:
| Command | Arguments | Description |
|---|---|---|
/jobconfig | None | Opens the shared Job Configurator. Select Fire Jobs after opening it. |
/jobconfigimport | sky_firejob | Imports local jobs, vehicles, settings, features, and interactions into the live runtime. |
/setboss | job grade | Grants all boss permissions to the selected job grade. |
Notes

/skyfirereignition arguments arereignitable, chance percentage, delay seconds, start scale, growth per second, final-extinguish hold seconds, near-impact tolerance, and near-impact accuracy, in that order. /watermonitorand/waterbucketare operational equipment commands. They use their job, duty, and feature configuration instead ofConfig.CommandPermissions.- ACE-protected administrator commands omitted from

Permission behavior
Firejob command groups are configured in sky_firejob/config/config.lua. Changes to permission groups require a resource restart. Players may also need to reconnect after their principal or framework group changes.
